The Success story of Amiee Bryett.

Back in the summer of 2008, A very nervous Amiee approached me saying “I think I need personal training, but I’m not sure because I’m really unfit”- Something Personal Trainers hear quite often. But Amiee was different, and is now one of the most inspirational people I know.

When Amiee came to me, she weighed 17st 8lb, and had spent a while using the gym, following gym programmes, but she had started losing motivation.
After a few training sessions, I could see Amiee’s heart wasn’t really in it, she didn’t want to be in the gym, and she certainly didn’t want to be spending money on working out !!
Along the way, a few goals were set, Amiee’s best friend asked her to be bridesmaid for her wedding, but in Amiee’s words, she wasn’t going to be a “fat bridesmaid”. This helped Amiee to start focusing more, and she gradually started seeing results

Although she began seeing improvements in her fitness and started to lose some weight, Amiee wasn’t satisfied, and I was beginning to understand how she really works…

We have all been there before, wanting to lose a bit of weight and to achieve results fast, but unfortunately it’s much easier to just give up. It takes a lot of commitment and dedication, to get where you want to be, as Amiee was about to prove.

In December 08 Amiee got engaged to her fiancé Lee, in Dubai. Although feeling on top of the world, Amiee was adamant the wedding date wasn’t to be set, until she had lost enough weight, and this was when things started to change…

The results began to show, and it was time to really concentrate on Amiee’s nutrition, as this was now the only thing letting her down. The Amiee I met on day 1 would never have stuck to the nutrition plan I set for her, this alone proved just how determined she really was.

Amiee was like a new person, her training stepped up, she started participating in my spinning classes, we introduced boxing and kettle bells into her personal training sessions, and I can honestly say, I looked forward to training her every time!


Since training with me and following my nutritional advice, Amiee has gone from weighing 17st 8lb to now weighing 11st 12lb, which is a total weight loss of 80lb.
Aimee has lost a third of her body weight! An outstanding achievement !!

Amiee has achieved her goals through nothing but total dedication. She trains hard every time I see her, nothing is too hard for Aimee, I put her through training drills she would never have imagined being able to do 12 months ago, and she looks absolutely fantastic for it !!


Well done Amiee ! You are a total inspiration for everyone. You have proved that nothing is impossible to achieve !
